Custom Made Oak Door Trims
We are always striving to produce an upmarket, bespoke & quality finish to our customers homes. That is why we decided many years ago that we should be unique in our installation and offer Oak trims at doorways, entrance mat well and even to create an extra special feature around tiles, fireplaces and even staircases.
With the quality of standard gold/silver aluminum trims that are regularly seen in people homes, these trims can dent and scratch easily so we chose to manufacture our own bespoke custom made Oak Trims. We use only the best quality American White Oak which we have made in a variety of different thicknesses so we can overcome height differences between rooms. These can be installed at any doorway and up against any flooring finish. They especially look fantastic when carpet is either side as they give a flush finish without any trip hazards.
The oak trims we use for a smooth transitioning from carpet to vinyl have a ramp down from the carpet to the hard flooring. They are all secretly welded to the floor with strong adhesive, so there are no screws. We sand them to a smooth grained oak, then we lacquer the oak to protect it from every day wear. This process takes time and skill and because they are our own special trademark we keep the cost's to yourself to a minimum. We have taken these bespoke Oak trims a step further and to be able to offer our customers the very best Oak door trims, we can also colour the Oak to match with there new floors. The most popular colours with us have been Light Beige, Light Grey, Gunmetal Grey, Jacobean Walnut, Silver Metallic, Bronze and we have even finished some Oak trims in racing Green. Adding a colour to the oak before the lacquer is applied, soaks into the grain of the oak and creates a beautiful piece of wood which accentuates the natural texture of the oak. We will always listen to our customers wants and needs to produce them with a superb flooring finish that is unique and affordable.
